Sara Francis

An emerging fundraiser, Sara is passionate about creating strong, inter-connected communities and is skilled in event coordination, administration, and teaching, as well as proficient in the use of The Raiser's Edge database, iWave, and the Frontstream/Artez peer-to-peer platform.

Sara handles all aspects of Special Events, Third Party events, and the Foundation's Direct Mail program, and ensures that donor-centered and volunteer-centered cultivation, stewardship, and recognition are maintained.  

Sara received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A. Hons.) in Religious Studies and Philosophy from Queen's University, as well as a certificate of French Immersion from Université Sainte-Anne. She has sat on the Board of Young Non-Profit Professionals – Ottawa, and is a Young Professional Member of the Ottawa AFP Chapter.

Prior to working at Perley Health, Sara taught English as a Second Language in the Republic of Korea for two years.
