Perley Health Foundation organizes several annual events with the help of wonderful corporate sponsors and tireless volunteers. Proceeds from these events ensure seniors and Veterans who call Perley Health home get the level of care and comfort they need and deserve. With your attendance and support, you’re making a very real difference in the lives of residents, and having fun doing it!

Plan an Event

Each year, caring individuals and groups raise money for Perley Health in their own creative way by hosting a Community Event. These events include everything from a lemonade stand in the park, dart tournaments, golf tournaments, curling bonspiels, to a benefit fashion show to name but a few.  We are also fortunate to enjoy the support of local businesses who choose to donate a portion of their proceeds; if you'd like to learn more about supporting Perley Health in this way, click here.

If you are ready to organize your own event, please call Courtney Rock at 613-526-7180 x.7177 or email her at crock@perleyhealth.ca. All it takes is a little creativity, some careful planning, and the desire to make a difference in the lives of the 450 men and women who call Perley Health home.

Once a year, in the midst of winter, the Navy Club would invite other clubs to participate in an Up Spirits Bonspiel to break the long winter monotony and which included, of course, at least one "tot" of rum.

The Seniors Men's Division inherited this tradition by establishing a one-day bonspiel to celebrate the beginning of the end of winter.  As part of this annual event a money was raised to support the men and women who have served and now call Perley Health home.
