While studying to be a nurse, I would visit my father at his job at a long-term care home. He was the maintenance supervisor but went beyond his job description to help seniors. Seeing him do a little thing, like fixing a resident’s watch, made a big impression on me.
Each day I see the staff at Perley Health go above and beyond to provide exceptional care. We all share the commitment to doing what’s right for residents, and it makes an enormous difference in seniors’ care.

Looking at the Resident Priority Needs list for this year, I know the difference your donation will make. For instance, your gift can provide a good night’s sleep and a better start to the day for a senior by helping us acquire new specialized mattresses.
Your donation today will purchase tablets for Personal Support Workers, allowing them to update charts on the fly while spending more time with residents. Even a few extra minutes of personal attention makes a big difference in a senior’s day.
At the end of life for a resident, families face emotional and physical difficulties. Your donation will help acquire Sleeper Chairs that allow loved ones to stay close and in greater comfort.
