Volunteer Grant Program

Volunteer Grant Program are corporate giving programs created to encourage volunteerism in communities where employees live and work. Charities benefit from the employee’s service and from the additional grant the company awards them.

Through these programs, companies provide monetary grants to charities like Perley Health where employees and retirees volunteer. Companies either provide a set monetary donation for every hour an employee volunteers or provide grants once employees reach certain thresholds.

Companies may also match donations made by their employees, known as a matching gift. This can in some cases double, triple or quadruple the employees donation depending on the company.
