COVID-19 and Your Support

Dear friends and supporters of the Perley Health,

In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic I am reaching out to let you know where things stand at the Perley Health Foundation.

Simply put, Perley Health life continues! While social distancing and public closures are implemented to flatten the curve, the men and women at Perley Health continue to need your support to live life to the fullest.

There have been many changes in the day-to-day operations. The Foundation office is closed to the public but staff are available by email or phone to help you continue to support seniors and Veterans.

You play a vital role in supporting seniors year-round and your donation has never been more necessary. Because of you, residents continue to have access to the best quality of care while remaining happy and safe.

Just yesterday, the incredible Therapeutic Recreation and Creative Arts team delivered three concerts back to back to accommodate residents in small groups. Usually, all residents would have gathered together for one big annual St. Patrick’s Day concert. Donors like you make it all possible. Thank you.

Did you know a team plan to run to raise funds to support programs, purchase new equipment, and make the necessary upgrades throughout our home possible? Even if Ottawa Race Weekend is cancelled, team members have maintained their commitment to participate on their own, and to continue to raise money for seniors and Veterans! I'm inspired by their commitment and ask you to throw your support behind them at this time.

Through all of the uncertainty that we find ourselves in, I am comforted to know that the seniors and Veterans at Perley Health have so many people like you who care about them.
