Riccardo (Rick) Campagna
Regional Vice President, BMO Bank of Montreal
Rick Campagna is the Regional Vice President, Personal Banking, Ottawa West & Ottawa Valley Market, for Québec & Eastern Ontario Region for BMO Bank of Montréal.
As a member of the Region’s Senior Leadership team, Mr. Campagna (Rick) is accountable for the overall business results for BMO’s Personal Banking business in the Ottawa West & Ottawa Valley Market. His mandate in this role includes developing successful business and customer experience strategies for the market, and ensuring that appropriate risk management practices and controls are in place.
As a seasoned professional, Rick has more than 36 years of experience in the banking industry, with 26 of those years spent in a leadership role. Prior to his current appointment, he has held progressive senior management positions, most recently as Regional Vice President, Ottawa West Market as well as Personal Banking Area Manager for the Ottawa West/Metro Area. He has also held various positions with another financial institution, before joining BMO in 2000.
Rick served as Chair of the Board of Villa Marconi Long Term Care Centre and was Vice President for the Canadian Italian Business and Professional Association (Ottawa Chapter). Always actively involved in the community, he has supported several not for profit corporations and charities throughout his career. He currently supports Kids Help Phone, United Way and Youth Soccer, among others.
As a strong advocate in the National Capital Region, Rick is currently leading BMO’s partnership with the Canadian Defence Community Banking Program, demonstrating that as the Official Bank of the Canadian Defence Community, BMO is committed to serving the unique needs of this community, with solutions for every life stage.
Rick received his Bachelor of Arts with honours, in Psychology, from Carleton University. He is a graduate of several leadership programs, including Rothman School of Management’s Advanced Leadership Program and BMO’s Managerial Leadership Learning System (MLLS). Rick holds a designation as an Associate, Institute of Canadian Bankers (AICB).
