Glenn La Rusic (Treasurer)
Former Chief Financial Officer, Commissionaires Ottawa
As a bilingual seasoned finance professional and executive, Glenn has over three decades of progressively senior finance experience. A Chartered Accountant by training and a member of Chartered Professional Accountants Ontario, he articled with Price Waterhouse (now PWC). His career has taken him through many industries, including the manufacturing, banking and service sectors. He has experience in publicly-listed and private companies as well as in the (Not-for Profit) NFP sector. He is currently the Chief Financial Officer for Commissionaires Ottawa, a NFP with almost 4,000 employees as well as the CFO for all its for-profit subsidiaries.
He is on the Board of Commissionaires Ottawa as Secretary-Treasurer as well as on the Board of the Commissionaires Ottawa Security and Consulting Group. As a volunteer he sits on four charity Boards, namely the John Howard Society of Ottawa and the Vesta Recovery Program for Women and the Rotel Foundation all as Treasurer and most recently as a Board member for the Perley Foundation.
He has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University and a Graduate Diploma in Public Accounting from McGill University. He has also taken advanced courses in Risk Management from Dalhousie University.
