A community builder and storyteller, Courtney Rock has been sharing stories about donor impact in the lives of seniors here in Ottawa since moving here from the east coast.
As the Director of Development, Courtney is responsible for the annual fundraising activities, providing support for the Foundation’s capital campaign, Answering the Call, creating an exceptional donor experience and providing opportunities for donors to invest in their community.
Courtney is a graduate of Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Management. Since graduating, Courtney has collected a number of certificates over the years in a variety of disciplines including, Prior Learning Assessments, LEAN, and Fundraising Management. A life long-learner, Courtney is eager to begin working towards here CFRE designation.
Prior to joining the team at the Foundation, Courtney has worked with The Glebe Centre and Rural Ottawa South Support Services, and the University of New Brunswick holding fundraising and community outreach roles.
In her spare time Courtney enjoys exploring the Ottawa area, visiting local farmers markets, volunteering with Cystic Fibrosis, or browsing the public library for her next read.
